Personal Medication Dispenser:Did Mom take her medications today? How do you know? You will never have to worry with this deluxe, "talking" medication dispenser.
A deluxe, automatic medications dispenser that does everything from announce medication times (verbally) to report failures to take medications. The MD2 medications dispenser will hold up to 60 plastic cups of meds.

What we like best about this product: It does sooooo much -- the Personal Medication System reminds you take your pills and then if you forget, it reminds you again! And then if you still don't take your meds, it squeals on you, calling up to five family members or friends to let them know. We also like the fact that the machine "talks" to you, so you don't have to go get your glasses to read the instructions!
And though it may be a bit pricey, you load it once and it does all the rest. A lot of caregivers tell us that the cost of the unit is a lot less expensive than paying a nurse just to dispense medications.
The MD2 boasts a 98.6% medication compliance record. In other words, the MD2s have notified their users of 1,401,656 medications times, and in 98.6% of the cases the button was pushed and the meds were dispensed. - Useful for people even in the early stages of the disease.
