Bargetto Winery 2009 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains is a light
garnet color. It is lovely and bright, and that is not just the
color. The aroma profile is very fruit forward. Fresh raspberries
and strawberries are the main components that will come to your
attention with underlying nuances of floral notes. The palate is
perfectly balanced between fruit, tannin structure and acid. The
mouth feel is light but filling. This is a perfect red to be sipped
on your deck, and would also accompany a rack of lamb for
dinner.
