What I DO claim is the method of construction that is utterly unique to me and that allows one to do the routine without fear of the dang thing breaking. If anyone reads this and DOES in fact know who invented the trick I would LOVE to give proper credit. The first person I saw do the routine was Ron Wilson at the Magic Castle over 35 years ago. Second  Note:  The picture of the match boxes used are not necessarily the boxes that you will get when ordering.  I use what boxes are available and now, for instance, they are the Blue Diamond boxes you find in every market from here to New York!  Hello! What is Haunted Match Boxes? Just one of the coolest and fun to do magic tricks around. And, it's been around for some time. It's problem? Well, the ones that did not break looked terrible and the ones that looked ok virtually always BROKE! At least the ones that I bought. That was the problem. I bought three different ones and all three broke almost immediately! I was not pleased. First, it was a waste of hard earned money and second I REALLY wanted to do the trick. My solution? I spent three months and what seemed like a zillion hours coming up with a design that simply will NOT break. You have to deliberately break them!!! That means you can use a set of Brad Burt made (and I personally make each and every one!) with total confidence in your professional work. You will NOT be embarrassed. For those who would like a quick description here goes: You reach into your pocket and remove two regular sized match boxes. You open the drawer in one box and place them end to end. You now push the open drawer closed which magically makes the drawer in the second box open! You do this a couple more times alternating between the boxes. You look at the audience and say, "Hmmmm, I know what you are thinking...midgets! You think I have a midget in between the boxes pushing back and forth with his arms...nope..watch!" At this point you place a playing card between the boxes and again push the drawers in and out. Hmmm, you now turn the boxes so that one is at a right angle to the other. It's end against the other boxes SIDE! Again, the drawers mysteriously go in and out. You now, place the boxes so that they are totally apart, separated in between the fingers of one hand. Still the drawers ghost in an out. You finish by closing both drawers and putting them away. I've been performing this baby for over 25 years and it rocks. I used to combine it with Hyrum the Haunted Hank for a mini 'ghost' routine, etc. Get this one and have some fun! As I stated above, the boxes are GUARANTEED NOT to break under normal working conditions. Obviously if the get wet or are sat upon that's not covered, but I have had performing friends come back with sets that had literally just worn out box wise, but the gimmick was still in place and working!!! You now introduce your 'magic' car.  You display it openly and placing it on the table you roll it around showing that it moves freely.  You now place it at one end of the row of cards and ASKING A SPECTATOR TO PLACE THEIR FINGER ON THE CAR YOU ASK THEM TO MOVE THE CAR FORWARD BY PUSHING.  They are in control....right?  Suddenly the car stops and simply refuses to go any further.  You ask the spectator to turn the card next to the car over and .... it .... is .....
