While we wouldn’t object in the least if you were to allow our Charles Creek Vineyard label to stand on the table, we do that there are times when decanting can be an attractive idea, particularly when one of our youthfully vibrant Merlots or Cabernets is drafted for dinner duty and a little accelerated breathing is called for.
For the true wine geek (the layman’s term for “connoisseur), the Orbital Decanter is a must. After pouring the selected vintage into the decanter, simply set the vessel on the table (where it rests at an angle) and allow it to rotate on its axis while the wine gently sloshes and aerates to perfection. For service, place the decanter into its silver plated base (with or without the crystal stopper) where it will remain upright (unlike some guests we might name) throughout the meal.
