SILVER MEDAL WINNER Sonoma Marin County Fair.
"This medium weight Cabernet delivers lots of flavor and complexity, with a range of red cherry, currant and berry fruit shaded by light, toasty oak. Hints of earth and spice fold in but the dark fruit dominates the finish. Ample, well-mannered tannins. Drink now through 2013." — James Laube.
I am most proud of our 2004 Eileen Cabernet. This vintage of our small cab vineyard, produced a highly rated wine after just 8 years in production. It has a spectacular nose (think allspice meets anise) and an elegant palate ... a St. Helena trademark of late. Lingering in the finish, it possesses dark red currant fruit, plums, mint, toasty oak and a nice earthiness. Only 430 cases made.
