Shipping Information
Policies & Details:
- Please allow one to two business days for order processing. If a
product is not in stock or if your order requires a large quantity
of products to be produced, you will be contacted to establish a
new ship date. Orders containing bonbons require 2 business days for processing if order placed after 1pm PST.
- Orders
are shipped Monday-Thursday only to prevent possible heat damage
associated with shipments in transit over the weekend. Orders placed on
Thursdays may not be shipped until the following Monday. Please contact our main offices at (888)635-1444 x202 if faster delivery is desired.
- Chuao
Chocolatier recommends shipping products to any destination in the
contiguous U.S. via Ground or 2-day air from November to March (if the
weather permits it) and Standard Overnight for the rest of the year when
temperatures can climb.
- Please note that, due to the warm
weather in some states, we cannot guarantee product quality at arrival
with Ground or 2-Day shipping. Chocolate (including hot chocolate)
melts, so we want to make sure yours arrives as perfectly delicious as
our chocolatier originally intended! If you request shipping to
destinations with weather of 72 degrees or higher we do not guarantee
the quality of the product with 2-day or ground delivery. In that case
we highly suggest Overnight shipping to guarantee the integrity of the
product. (Our icepacks will only keep the product safe for 24 hours)
- Ground shipping not available to destinations in Florida, Hawaii, or Alaska, due to high risk of significant damage to product during shipment.
- Please provide a street address for your order as we are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time.
- Saturday delivery is not available from our online store. Please call (760) 602-9484 Ext. 202 if Saturday delivery is required.
- We do not ship outside of the continental U.S.
- Please note that shipping charges are per recipient.
- All packages will be shipped via UPS

Product Care:
Each Chuao Chocolatier order is carefully packaged to
minimize damage to contents and ensure freshness. This includes the use
of an ice pack (as the weather and climate require) to make sure your
order arrives in perfect conditions.
To prevent
melting or discoloration, we recommend that all Chuao Chocolatier
products be kept cool (68-70 degrees F) and stored in a dry place upon
receipt. Should you decide to refrigerate, please seal in a zip lock
type container and let it warm up to room temperature prior to opening.
A
product that is made with care should be handled with care.If you have
any questions, or If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your Chuao
Chocolatier order, we will promptly replace, exchange or refund your
