Position: Sales/Support Assistant & Office Manager

Description: Nexternal, a leading ecommerce platform provider, seeks a Sales/Support Admin Assistant and Office Manager to contribute to the success of our growing company. This position is for Nexternal’s Carlsbad CA office. This position will be responsible for supporting Nexternal’s sales and support staff. He or she will be expected to work with existing clients, answer inbound calls, and answer basic questions of prospective clients. This person will also be expected to become an expert with our ecommerce software. Some of the responsibilities this person will include:

• Assigning Inbound Sales Leads
• Updating our Social Media Channels (Twitter, Blog, & Facebook)
• Ordering Office Supplies
• Tracking Sales Commissions
• Billing & Invoicing
• Fielding Support Questions Via Phone and Live Chat
• Following up with Outstanding Billing Issues and Preparing Invoices
• Training Clients on Basic Features of our Software
• Miscellaneous Research Projects

The ideal candidate is personable, intelligent, hardworking, patient, punctual and proficient with the internet. Communication skills, time-management, desire to continuously learn and the ability to think on one’s feet are a plus.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiar with updating social media channels.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well individually, as well as part of a team .
• Ability to interact with others and exhibit a positive attitude.

Hours: Ideally we would like someone that can work at least 5 hours per day (M-F) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m..
