A portion of the blend was aged in carefully selected small oak barrels to provide silky tannins and a soft creamy finish. With primary aromas of ripe blackberries, black currants, dark cherries and plums, this full-bodied wine exhibits some spiciness and earthy tones with soft velvety tannins. The slight toasty oak combined with the dense fruit flabors also provides a very long and intense finish. Enjoy with grilled flank steak or thyme encrusted pork tenderloin.
