Winemakers Notes:<BR>Bold and spirited, this Petite Sirah is a hearty red wine lover’s dream.<BR>Fragrances of dried rose petals and tobacco swirl around a core of<BR>black cherry and anise. Full-bodied on the palate, richly ripened<BR>cherries and dates mesh with earthy walnut tones. Hints of espresso,<BR>cocoa and cloves complete the tasting experience.<BR>These grapes were grown by Bacigalupi Vineyards on river loam soils<BR>along the Russian River. Situated in the northern section of the<BR>Russian River Valley, close to Healdsburg, this area is hotter and<BR>produces grapes of intense flavor. This Petite Sirah is the wellrecognized<BR>old Foppiano clone, first planted over a century ago by the<BR>Foppiano family.<BR>The blend is 94% Petite Sirah and 6% Zinfandel.<BR>Unfiltered and unfined.<BR></P>
