Summary
The new Drain Defender for Curb Inlet Drains (PATENT PENDING) is a temporary solution for Type 1 basins with a man hole cover and no grate. The insert hangs from a wire frame that is held in place in the opening by a simple support bar. This catch basin insert will trap leaves, debris, sediment and pollutants that are carried by storm water into the drainage system, reducing the amount of pollutants that enter the waterway.
