Our light, crisp and fruit-filled Rose is full of strawberry and melon aromas and flavors. It is bottled with a Stelvin screw cap for easy enjoyment and storage...perfect for keeping a bottle in the fridge this summer or any time of the year. 91 cases produced.
Vineyard Notes:
On September 30, 2005 we picked 10 tons of Cabernet Franc from the Saviez Vineyard just north of
St. Helena. After crushing the grapes, we chilled the must for 48 hours and bled off a small amount to ferment for our Rose. The free run juice was placed into a small stainless steel tank and fermented for five days and then moved to five neutral oak barrels to finish fermentation to dryness.
