<div style="background-color: #f7f7f7; padding: 15px 5px; border-bottom: 1px dashed #808080;"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #1E347C;">Tasting Notes:</span><br>Medium-purple/black color, the wine shows a perfume of blueberry jam, violets, pomegranate and mint with a hint of spice and pepper. The wine is medium in body and has a soft mid-palate, with supporting acidity and integrated tannins.
<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #1E347C;">Winemaking Notes:</span><br>Grapes are hand-sorted in the vineyards and at the winery and are completely de-stemmed. Small, open top fermenters with manual punch downs are utilized for optimum extraction while maintaining an elegant structure. The primary fermentation finishes in 10-12 days. The wine is transferred to 1 year old Burgundy barrels for malo-lactic fermentation and 10 months of aging. The wine was bottled, unfined, in August 2006.
<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #1E347C;">Vintage Notes:</span><br>2006 was a long and cool vintage. The wines retained much of their natural acidity and show an outgoing, charming fruitiness.
