Blackberries, plum, walnut, cedar and anise with a a touch of vanilla from the oak.

Zinfandel, Lodi’s best-known varietal, is grown at our Gill Creek Ranch overlooking the Mokelumne River. Our family planted this <a href="http://wine.appellationamerica.com/grape-varietal/zinfandel.html"target=_new>Zinfandel</a> vineyard more than forty years ago and it benefits from Lodi’s specific terroir so famed ideal for the cultivation of this grape variety. This is a wine that comes from the heart of our vineyard and the heart of our family’s dedication to our roots in Lodi. Our 40 acre Estate Zinfandel vineyard yields 4-5 tons per acre.
