The Estate Pichon Vineyard is located at 1200-1800 feet elevation on the <a href="http://wine.appellationamerica.com/wine-region/Santa-Cruz-Mountains.html" target=_new> Santa Cruz Mountains’</a> Mount Umunhum above Lexington Reservoir. A vineyard in the late 1800’s was maintained by the Delphin Pichon family. Burrell School is proud to be producing wines from this historic site.

<span style="font-weight: bold; color: #1E347C;">Winemaker Notes:</span><br>
Our Syrah is barrel aged in American oak barrels, 50% new, for twelve months. Deep, opaque, almost black color followed by aromas of dark loganberries, cassis and licorice. A rich, textured mouth-feel adds extra complexity.
