2005 Syrah Santa Ynez Valley -- Andrew Murray Vineyards Shopping Cart
Dark garnet in color with an explosive nose of cherries, vanilla, pepper & caramel
This is the first time we have bottled this wine, as it replaces our “Estate Grown” Syrah that we used to make. This wine is comprised of grapes grown on our old estate (70%) and grapes grown at the Oak Savanna Vineyard (30%). It is a bit fuller-bodied in style than the wine that it replaces. It is also quite a bit darker in color, while retaining the red-fruit flavors and armas that have become the hallmark for this wine. The wine is packed with aromas and flavors of cherries, cranberry, and cassis and spicy notes consiting of vanilla, pepper, and caramel. The wine is quite drinkable now and should age effortlessly for 5-7 years.

2005 Syrah "Roasted Slope Vineyard" -- This is the tenth release of this Syrah from a singular, 14 year old Syrah vineyard which has 5% Viognier interplanted amongst the Syrah vines. Thus the wine is a blend of Syrah and Viognier that were . . .

2006 Grenache -- The grapes for this wine come from the Brave Oak Vineyard in Paso Robles, just east of the 101. We had the Grenache custom planted for us in 2000 to the ENTAV clone simply named Clone 513. At the time . . .

2006 Syrah Stolpman Vineyard -- The Stolpman Vineyard lies along the beautiful Ballard Canyon Road, in what I would call a moderate zone…not quite cool, not quite warm. The soils are laden with limestone, which mimic the great soils . . .
2006 Syrah Watch Hill Vineyard -- The Watch Hill Vineyard lies in the cool reaches of the Los Alamos Valley. The grapes are allowed to reach very high maturity levels, while retaining a stunning natural acidity due to warm, sunny days . . .
