The primary tubes start out at 1.5" diameter then step up to 1.625" diameter. Collector is 2.5". This step helps scavange the exhaust gases while maintaining high gas velocity. The result is midrange of a 1.5" header and the high end of a 1.625" header. These are great for performance street cars and race cars up to about 175HP. Ideal for SCCA ITB and ITA cars. These are high quality and designed to fit the 2002. Dyno tests have proven these headers out perform every other header on the market. Ceramic coating is available for an additional $120. We recommend the heat shield exhaust gasket listed in this catalog section as a finishing touch. These headers are now available in polished 304 stainless steel with 1.5" pipes (no step) for an additional cost of only $65.00. We now have and adapter to connect our headers (2.5" collector only) to our stainless steel (or factory) exhaust system.
