SILVER MEDAL - 2008 Grand Harvest Awards
Tasting Notes
The 2006 Cabernet Franc has a carmine-purple color. The aroma has a blueberry-boysenberry theme with a flowery almost violet perfume. The aromas also carry just enough of a cedar-herbal nuance to identify the wine’s varietal origin as Cabernet Franc. There is also a touch of mineral and dust. The flavors are of cassis with notes of tobacco leaf and herbs delivered by a medium bodied wine with soft integrated tannins and a toasted oak finish.
