Les Vents d’Anges, “the wind of angels,” is a tribute to Geneviève de Beaubien, M.D., the beloved sister of Al Schornberg, owner of Keswick Vineyards. According to her brother Al, “she was a very special person who dedicated her life to saving the lives of others and being the glue in our family.”
Influenced by her French mother, Geneviéve loved the language and country, spending many summers and holidays in France. Her mother named the wine Les Vents d’Anges, which is pronounced the same as vendanges, meaning “harvest.”
This oak-aged red blend has an abundance of plum and raspberry on the nose and a touch of spice on the palate.
