One of the rarest and most well-balanced of the wild Yemeni coffees, the Ismailis "assert themselves gently and never insist." The flavor can be described as winey, spicey, fruity and nutty, with a unique acidity that is smooth and sharp at the same time. Similar to a well-balanced Ethiopian, we find that the Ismailis produce a more consistent flavor from roast to roast.
