Before starting Crocker & Starr in 1997, Pam was winemaker for Spottswood. After starting Crocker & Starr, she also became consulting winemaker for Gemstone and was with them until the completion of the 2004 vintage. Drew, former winemaker for John Kongsgaard, is now winemaker for his own label, Neiman Cellars. Each year, Pam and Drew contact fellow winemakers from other laudable wineries in the Valley in search of small and unique barrels of wine. As those in the wine business know, sometimes not all the wine made goes into those expensive bottles - so what better to do with that leftover juice than blend it up? As mixologists, they create two blends, a white and a red - both are Appellation Napa Valley and from some of the most revered vineyards and rock star sources known only to Pam and Drew. This is a winemakers wine to please the most discriminating palates.
