Adastra 2004 Merlot, Carneros, Napa Valley -- For the first time, the estate-grown Adastra Merlot is blended with seven percent estate-grown Syrah, creating a fascinating and substantial wine. Cherry-violet in color with a nose of raspberries, cherries and Bourneville chocolate. On the palate raspberries, cherries, vanilla, black licorice, clove stick, with a slightly meaty finish.
