Originally preserved to commemorate Alexander Ramsey, the Minnesota Historical Society site now offers an innovative interpretation of the women who lived and worked there, and the gender and class dynamics evoked in the public and private spaces from the parlor and dining room to the kitchen and attic. The tour precedes session 53, which will take place at the Alexander Ramsey House facility. Preregistration is required, at a cost of $10, which includes bus transportation to the site and admission to the house.
