Tasting Notes:Our Witness Tree Vineyard “Hanson” Pinot Noir is a wine that is bottled only in exceptional growing seasons. Extremely dark in color, the 2008 Witness Tree "Hanson" Pinot Noir is full-bodied, and offers a fusion of aromas of red and black fruits, vanilla and exotic spices and just a hint of earth. On the palate, dense fruit flavors are balanced by an appropriate contribution of new French oak, tannin, and acidity. To enjoy this wine to its fullest it should be laid down for several years to allow the tannins to fully integrate, but once you have experienced it, even in its youth, it will be hard to keep your hands out of the cellar! Prime drinking 2013-2023. Only 96 cases were made.
