just north of Salem. This site produces
wine that is quite dark and structured with bright acids and abundant
tannins. The nose gives off aromas of
forest floor, dark cherries and spice.
The palate is intense and bright with acids, sweet fruit dark fruit and
abundant texturing tannin. On the
finish, there is a persistent sweet dark cherry fruit flavor that balances well
with the abundant tannin. This wine will
age well for over ten years.
