<H1>2003 Vache Red Blend, Signature Collection -- Pietra Santa Winery Shopping Cart</H1> The first release of our Signature Collection, the Vache Red Blend is a Bordeaux style blend. <IMG SRC="https://store.nexternal.com/psanta/images/Vache_Sigweb.gif" ALIGN=right ALT="2003 Vache Red Blend, Signature Collection" NAME="2003 Vache Red Blend, Signature Collection" BORDER=0 HSPACE=10> The first release of our Signature Collection, is named for French immigrant Theophile Vache who originally planted vines on our Cienega Valley estate back in 1850, this in one of four French varietals produced in homage to his pioneering spirit. Our Vache Red Blend is made from estate fruit and is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It was aged in new French oak and tastes of ripe cherries, blackberries and currants with hints of chocolate and cedar. This wine is supple and round with structured tannins.
