2007 Saboteur
The Saboteur is a unique blend of Tempranillo, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache. With a deep red color, it is reminiscent of an old world wine, with the lush fruit of Paso Robles providing a seductive texture. In the nose, loamy earth combines with dark berry and tart cherry aromas laced with spice, licorice, and tobacco. Full and rich in the mouth, the wine has hints of cocoa and dried flowers, leaving a lingering finish of pleasant tannin and bright fruit. Saboteur’s bold flavors and solid structure assure that the wine will continue to improve in the bottle for 2-3 years.
