2008 Estate Blanc
We crafted this Rhône-style blend from the third leaf (and first harvest!) from our Estate vineyard located on 46 West, in Paso Robles. The wine is the perfect embodiment of what we set out to achieve at Edward Sellers: fine balance, exceptional fruit characters, and refined elegance. Here, the purity of the fruit shines through, with white peach aromas laced with jasmine and citrus blossom. The palate shows the lifted stone fruit and honey notes of Grenache Blanc bolstered by a Roussanne backbone. Marsanne adds mineral tones to flavors of kumquat and apricot that carry through to the substantial finish.
