We began to develop the vineyards on our 45-acre home ranch in 1984, soon after we bought the property. In 1999, with the help of our consultant, ‘Amigo’ Bob Cantisano, we converted entirely to organic farming. Since then, each vintage we harvest seems to yield darker and more flavorful grapes, from which we make increasingly complex and intense wines. Our Merlot is always a blend, this year with 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc.
