<font face="StempelGaramond-Roman"><p align="left"><font face="StempelGaramond-Roman" size="3">This is our first bottling of Napa Valley Cabernet and we are excited by the result. In 2005, the crop was larger than normal and of superior quality – an unusual, but welcome, combination that encouraged us to pursue this wine. Sourced from key vineyards from all the appellations of Napa Valley, this wine has the typical Cabernet characteristics for which Napa Valley is famous – aromas of dense black and red fruit alongside a hint of oak, with bright flavors of berry, cassis and cocoa on the palate. The finish is long and lingering – this is a perfect wine to pair with food or to enjoy alone. According to Winemaker Paul Steinauer, “the growing season was long (our longest – spanning ten weeks compared to the normal six) and consistent. The larger crop size gave us the ability to make an even more rigorous selection for the final blend, resulting in wine rich in berry and current flavors with deep color and soft tannin. It can be enjoyed now for its youthful character or aged for several years to further enhance its complexity.”</p>
