ABOUT EYE COMPRESSES
WHY WARM? Warm compresses (heat packs) are for
people struggling with meibomian gland dysfunction or blepharitis. Our
warmers are the Eye Spa Pad (popularized in Dr. Latkany's book "The Dry
Eye Remedy") and Rebecca's Rice Baggy. Tranquileyes goggle users may
want to try the Thermoeyes heat inserts to enhance the goggle benefits.
WHY COLD? Chilled compresses provide soothing
relief for sore, inflamed eyes and eyelids. Our warm compresses can
also be used chilled, and we have several eye coolers available as
well, ranging from gelpacks to polyethylene bead filled compresses.
