Heat spikes throughout the summer season created early, well developed sugars and
one of the earliest harvests in Napa Valley. Grape quality was good with a smaller
than average crop. Th e 2004 vintage is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It displays an aroma of layers of blackberries, plum and coffee and a ruby and garnet red color. The palate consists of elegant yet firm tannins from the Cabernet Sauvignon with layers of black fruit and coffee that show the complexity of the wine. Drink now – 20+ years |
