Set in the summertime, we meet Benny as he describes his move to Dinoville with his family. Benny makes friends with many different kinds of dinosaurs. One day, their next-door neighbor Mrs. Rex invites Benny to her son Ty's birthday party. Benny gets nervous about the party because he doesn't know Ty yet and he doesn't want to be the only herbivore at a Tyrannosaurus Rex party! After Ty learns why Benny doesn't eat cake and ice cream with the rest of the kids, he joins Benny in eating a giant nut burger. Together, they learn that despite their differences, they can still be best friends! In this book, children will learn that people can be friends despite their differences and they’ll feel more secure in their dietary habits and being around other people who may eat differently. 48 pages. $6.95 per copy.
