Tasting Notes
“The best wine you’ve never heard of!” It is true that Petit
Manseng is an uncommon variety of grape described as one of
France’s unusually underrated treasures- Jurancon Moelleux. Just
looking at the pale-gold liquid brings ‘tears’ to the eyes
otherwise known as legs which forecast the honeyed viscous quality
of the wine. The aroma is so wonderful it is hard to describe as
honey, cocoa nut, nougat, figs, dates, pralines and cinnamon –
toast intermingle in heady complexity. The taste is as good as the
aroma tropical fruit honey and sweet spices. On the palate the wine
is lush and complex filling up all the space and ruling supreme in
the finish
