UnderWinemaker/Technical Director Roman Roth's meticulous care, WölfferEstate Vineyard encompasses 55 acres and practices sustainableagriculture. Similar in many respects to conditions in Bordeaux,the local Bridgehampton loam soil, combined with the breeze fromthe Atlantic, only 2.6 miles away, provides the perfect conditionsto achieve the ripeness and acidity necessary for producingWölffer's signature style: European elegance combined with thetypicity of their Long Island terroir.

Style andTaste

The color isorange with a slightly golden Rosé shimmer.

The amazingnose features classic sharp acidity, balanced by wonderful hints ofoak and great yeast notes. There are ripe, oxidized fruit notes ofpeach, pineapple and limes. The mouth-feel is vibrant and tangy,with a refreshing aftertaste.

TechnicalData

WölfferEstate Aged Rosé Vinegar is crafted in the traditional FrenchOrleans method of aging selected lots of Rosé wine for over 6months in old wooden barrels. Our special "vinegar mother", alongwith the right amount of oxygen, slowly oxidizes the ethanol intoacetic acid, transforming our Rosé wine into a special RoséVinegar.

Tasting Notes:The color has a shimmering light pink / copper hue.The nose isexuberant with gooseberries, mint and capsicum.
