How do I limit customers to purchasing only one of a given product?

If your goal is to limit the customer to one per order, you should use the Maximum Order Quantity field. If you wish to enforce a limit of one over an extended period of time, you should use a Product Allocation. Both features are available when creating or editing a product in the Order Management System.
