The Shipping Rates being quoted to my customers via UPS Rates & Service Selection consistently do not match the rate I am charged when UPS ships the corresponding packages. How can I resolve this discrepancy?
Rates returned by UPS Rates & Service Selection are determined largely by the Shipping Weights of the products in a given shipment, as well as the relevant preferences are specified at Settings/Compatible Software/Online Shipping Tools Preferences in the Order Management System. (Customer Classification is the most critical preference relating to UPS Rates & Service Selection.) Additionally, some UPS Shipping options (such as Shipment Notification) incur additional fees that are not reflected in the rate returned by Rates & Service Selection. Therefore, please review your Shipping Weights and Preferences very carefully.
