Creating, editing and deleting a storefront Category |
Question:How do I delete / edit / create a category? |
Response:
You can only delete a category if there are no products associated to it and no subcategories associated to it.
To delete a category, click on the category name from the Category list screen and click the "Delete Category" button at the bottom of the screen.
If you do not see that button, there are still products or subcategories associated with the category and you must remove those associations first.
To edit a category navigate to Categories / Category Name / Edit.
To create a new category navigate to Categories / New.
