I have products listed in several sub-categories that I would like to remove and place them in the parent category, removing all the sub-categories. What is the best way?

There are a few different ways you could tackle this task. Here is one option: 1. Edit the sub-categories that are the current parents of the products you wish to move and make them top level categories. 2. Once the desired top level categories do not have sub-categories attached to them, edit the products and attach them to the desired top level categories. 3. Once the products are all attached to the desired top-level categories, you can delete the original sub-categories (which are now undesired top-level categories) from the respective category detail screens. Note, to delete a category, you can not have products associated with it.
