I have an order that I need to ship in two boxes. When I go to create the labels and split the shipments, the system gives me two labels, and independent shipments. I'm shipping them both now. Is there a way I can get the system to connect these two (1 of 2, and 2 of 2)?

If I you two boxes for a single order and you are shipping both on the same day, and you want the boxes connected (1 of 2, 2 of 2) then you do not split the order. After clicking shipping labels button, click create label. Next, you will select the customize shipping options radio button. In the number of packages field, enter 2. A window opens where you'll enter the weight and dimensions for each box, and choose your other options. Then, when you create the label, it automatically prints both labels, and it prints 1 of 1 and 2 of 2, respectively on the shipping labels.
