I am using ShipCompliant with my Nexternal storefront. I have set my wine club sign-up in Nexternal as a product. Do I need to set this product up in ShipCompliant as well? If so, what setting should the product have?

Yes you will need to set the product up in ShipCompliant with the Product Type of Non-Wine and General Non-Taxable Merchandise.
