My products have multiple views (I'm using the image gallery). Is there a way I can get the main/big image to automatically show without the shopper having to click on the mini thumbnail? Can they just hover over the image and it will automatically change?

Yes. If you have added main images to match each of your gallery thumbnails, you can do this. Go to Settings / Boolean Options - Edit / Gallery Mouseover. If checked, the image will change based on hover. If this box is unchecked, the main image will change when the mini thumbnail is clicked.
