How do we split an order for shipping so that each box has the correct weight? i.e. order received for 18 bottles, we need to ship it in a 12 bottle and a 6 bottle box. Can I split the shipment in Nexternal or do we have to do manually?

For the order in question, click on the order number and click the button for shipping labels. After clicking shipping labels button, click create label. Next, you will select the customize shipping options radio button. In the number of packages field, enter 2. A window opens where you'll enter the weight for each box. Then, when you create the label, it automatically prints both labels, and it prints 1 of 1 and 2 of 2, respectively on the shipping labels. If you want the system to automatically split shipments for future orders, go to settings>compatible software (edit)>online shipping tools (preferences), in general options at the top, you can plug in the Number of Packages. Here enter the number of different packages with which you ship products. Under package basis, select QTY Or Weight (whichever you prefer). Click next. You may specify the details of those packages on the 2nd screen.
