Outstanding Orders - Marking Order Status At Line Items Level
Question:
How do you clear an order from being an outstanding order if one item has been Canceled in the order? The Order Status is currently "See Line Items", and it continues to be an outstanding order.
Response:
An order is outstanding until all line items are marked as Shipped or Canceled. Thus, the order in question will no longer be outstanding when the remaining (non-Canceled) line item(s) are marked as Shipped or Canceled. If you do ship the remaining item(s), take care to change the status on the line item level, not the order level, as the latter action will cause all line items (including the currently Canceled item) to show a status of Shipped.
