I used the Customer Export to create an Excel file of my customer data, updated phone numbers, and then imported that file as a Customer Import. For every United States record, the scan reported that the country codes were not recognized and the state codes did not match. How can I prevent this?
Excel-format Customer Exports (Customers/Export) may be used as Customer Import (Customers/Import) files, allowing you to export your products, make changes as needed, then upload the file as an import in Update mode. However, to do so, you must make the following selections Microsoft-format Order Export Preferences screen (Orders/Export/Microsoft Perferences):
