Question:
Can I edit a current order's item number to be a different item number, or do i have to cancel the current order and reenter as different order.
In other words, how do I modify the line items in an order that's already been placed?
Response:
On the order detail screen (accessed by clicking on the order number from the order list screen), you will see edit and add buttons next to "line items". use the Add button to add the item you wish to put in the order.
Then, from the order detail screen, delete the item you are replacing by clicking the red X to the left of the line item that will appear when there are multiple products in the order. Then process as normal.
Please note that changes to the order do not automatically make changes to any cc processing that has already been done. If you've already charged the credit card and are now modifying the order, you will have to do the necessary cc processing as well, in the credit card terminal.
