Paymentech Compatible ECommerce Software

Nexternal Solutions' shopping cart software has been compatible with Paymentech since 2002. Paymentech offers merchant accounts to thousands of online businesses. Online merchants using Nexternal's e-commerce software can process payments online efficiently through the Paymentech Orbital Gateway. Processing credit cards online has many advantages. It results in fewer processing errors and decreases fulfillment time. In addition to accepting credit cards, merchants can also sell and accept flexcache gift cards.

Merchants using Nexternal's e-commerce software can sign up for a Paymentech account directly through the Order Management System. This is the preferred sign up method for companies that want to use the Paymentech Orbital Gateway.

Should a bank sign a merchant up for a Paymentech merchant account, the merchant can also opt to use the Authorize.net gateway. Merchants using Paymentech's Orbital Gateway should note that Nexternal's shopping cart software will only work with the Tampa Platform.

Merchants that sign up for a Paymentech account will also gain access to an Orbital Virtual Terminal - a web based application for authorizing, capturing, and settling payments. However, most processes can be done directly in the Nexternal Order Management System through the Transaction Terminal.
